Code of Conduct & Anti-Harassment Policy

Silent Partner Press (“we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment across all of our platforms, communities, and partnerships. This includes our website, newsletters, ARC teams, social media spaces, imprint communities, events, and all interactions with our staff, authors, and partners.
We do not tolerate harassment, abusive behavior, discrimination, or misconduct in any form.
This Code of Conduct outlines the standards expected of anyone who interacts with Silent Partner Press or participates in our community.
1. Who This Policy Applies To
This policy applies to:
- reviewers and ARC readers
- authors and collaborators
- freelancers, editors, and contractors
- influencers and affiliates
- customers and community members
- anyone interacting with our staff or imprints
Participation in any Silent Partner Press space means agreeing to these standards.
2. Expected Behavior
All participants are expected to:
- communicate respectfully
- act professionally
- follow platform rules
- respect differing opinions
- maintain confidentiality of ARC materials
- avoid personal attacks or inflammatory language
- respect the boundaries and wellbeing of staff, authors, and community members
Constructive criticism is welcome; harassment is not.
3. Prohibited Behavior
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
Harassment or Abuse
Including but not limited to:
- threats or intimidation
- online harassment, dogpiling, or stalking
- slurs, hate speech, or discriminatory remarks
- personal attacks against authors, readers, reviewers, or staff
- targeted attempts to provoke conflict or disrupt discussions
Discrimination
We do not tolerate discrimination based on:
- race
- ethnicity
- gender or gender identity
- sexual orientation
- disability
- age
- religion
- nationality
- socioeconomic status
- creative background or education
ARC Misconduct
Including:
- leaking ARC files
- sharing restricted content
- posting early spoilers without warnings
- pirating or distributing pre-release materials
- attempting to resell or redistribute ARCs
Unprofessional Conduct Toward Staff
Such as:
- harassment of employees or contractors
- hostile emails or messages
- demanding privileged access
- impersonating staff or affiliates
Fraud or Manipulation
Including:
- fake reviews
- review swaps
- misrepresenting ARC participation
- using stolen or fraudulent accounts
4. Consequences of Violations
Silent Partner Press reserves the right to take any of the following actions if this policy is violated:
- removal from ARC programs
- revocation of all future review privileges
- blocking from email lists or groups
- cancellation of affiliate status
- bans from community spaces
- termination of contracts or collaborations
- reporting severe misconduct to the appropriate platforms or authorities
We may take action without prior warning in serious cases.
5. Reporting Misconduct
If you witness or experience behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please contact us immediately:

- your name
- a brief description of the incident
- any screenshots or supporting information available
All reports are reviewed promptly and confidentially.
6. Retaliation Prohibited
We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports misconduct in good faith.
Anyone engaging in retaliation may be immediately removed from all Silent Partner Press programs and communities.
7. Policy Updates
Silent Partner Press may revise this policy at any time.
Continued participation in our programs or communities constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
